The Sheraton Haikou Hotel project is a five-star resort and business conference hotel located on the northern coast of Hainan Island. The hotel was designed to allow guests to appreciate the ocean views and lush landscaped scenery while enjoying impeccable service discreetly provided by the hotel staff.

The landscape design uses the beachfront as its focal point. Green spaces are organized to naturally link the hotel to the ocean in a series of expanding, outwardly flowing nodes. This sequence was designed to create in the guests a feeling of leaving the crowded and stressful city areas for a calm and relaxing environment of the sandy shore and warm ocean waters.
