Avignon Town is located in the city of Wuxi in Jiangsu Province. The overall design is focused on the interaction of people, architecture and the natural environment. The architecture displays a noble, elegant, refined theme, creating an atmosphere and culture of a French village. Sculpture, bubbling fountains, and landscaped elements create a distinguished look that harmonizes with the architecture. Organic green spaces link the architectural elements together and create an intimate relationship between man and nature.
This prominent main plaza is the largest public gathering space in the community, as well as the gateway and iconic image for the entire development. Following the main plaza is a smaller plaza, which connects communities to the outside while acting as a buffer to limit noise and traffic. Open green spaces with water themes are prevalent through the entire project, encouraging interaction between neighbors and encouraging residents to commune with the natural environment.
