项目位于三亚市大东海海韵路西侧，东临大东海海滩、西南与鹿回头猕猴保护区接壤、北靠明珠海景酒店，用地总体呈不规则三角形，地势西高东低，东面沿海部分较平坦，海岸线丰富，西面山体海拔较高。该地块背山面海，自然资源得天独厚，是一块不可多得的风水宝地。总体规划布局在现有分区基础上整合设计，重点是形成有场所感的空间，营造休闲度假的氛围。
The Shan Hai Tian Hotel is located in the city of Sanya, on the south coast of Hainan Island in the South China Sea. The shape of the site is triangular, with highlands and mountains to the west, and low, relatively flat terrain on the east end extending to the coastline. The project consisted of integrating a new guestroom tower into the existing hotel design and renovating the existing hotel exterior facades. The intent of the new design was to create a fresh identity for the hotel, with a focus on creating a holiday atmosphere through the formation of more intimate spaces and the creation of flowing indoor/outdoor areas.
